9001 and the following accredited standards and industry organisations.

EA
Group UK Ltd is a QMS ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 registered firm, This accreditation
is the world’s most successful standard addressing best practice in the
application of quality management systems.
The standard is based around the principles of customer satisfaction,
continual improvement and the development of a process based quality
management system. Although not referenced in the standard itself the ISO
9001 document is underpinned by eight key quality management principles;
- a customer focused organisation
- leadership
- the involvement of people
- ensuring a process approach
- a systematic approach to management
- a factual approach to decision making
- mutually beneficial supplier relations
- continuous improvement
ISO 9001:2000 has been written to ensure that its guiding principles are
equally relevant to all sectors of industry and to all types of
organisation. Although containing requirements to control the key
processes within an organisation, it only requires six documented
procedures. The standard emphasises the need for an organisation to
continually monitor their own processes and systems, with many clauses
making reference to self monitoring or measurement or both. This emphasis
aims for an integrated approach to business processes. Instead of
operating to a business plan on one hand and a quality management system
on the other, the standard aims to integrate both of these functions into
one system.
ISO 14001 Award for EA Group (UK) Limited
In July 2008 following an assessment by an independent body, EA Group
(UK) Limited has been awarded ISO 14001 certification. This
certification has only been achieved by less than 1% of UK businesses
and this prestigious award is supported by the Government and recognised
world-wide.
Said a delighted Robert Munday, Managing Director “We have always been
proud of the service we offer our clients and the way that we conduct
our business with regard to environmental matters. Now with the award of
ISO 14001 certification, this has been confirmed by outside experts who
are used to judging standards on a daily basis in a wide variety of
trades and industries”.
Ian McGleish, who undertook the assessment for QMS Quality Management
Systems, paid particular tribute to “the investment in people and
training that enables EA Group to provide an efficient and
environmentally friendly service to their customers”.

CSCS is fast becoming the industry standard. It is supported by
organisations such as the Major Contractors Group (MCG), National
Contractors Federation (NCF), Major Home Builders Group (MHBG) and Civil
Engineering Contractors Association (CECA) all of whom are committed to a
fully qualified workforce by the end of 2010.
Our major clients recognise our commitment to quality by having a 100%
CSCS carded workforce. These clients include government, housing
associations, NHS projects and private clients such as BAA.
