Heathrow T5's CCTV network reaches big milestone
"Completing
this work on time marks a major step towards
delivery of one of the worlds largest common network
CCTV Systems"
Another major milestone
to report on with London
Heathrow Airport T5 core CCTV system that's being
delivered, bang on target.
The milestone was achieved on 7th March 2007.
Achieving this on time enables the ntl: Telewest
Security and the EA Group Teams to connect more than
1500 cameras that will be used at T5.
It also means that the teams are on
track to have the connections in place by Operations
Readiness day 17th September 2007 - and from there,
integration to the HAL CCTV System.

worlds largest common network CCTV Systems. I am
very proud and appreciative of the efforts made by

The next step is to reach 60% camera
installation when the team will be able to commence
"load testing" of the systems with software
connectivity to the Building Systems Integration
Common User "front end" displays for cause and
effect validation.
