Jersey Airport Car Parking Equipment

 

Its all about supplying quality equipment, having a high level of service and a commitment to training

Supporting business in the Channel Islands is a feat that not many mainland organisations actually get right.

 

Design & Build Quality - the highest level of confidence in the equipments design and build quality is required to be satisfied that the system will remain working with minimal down time between site visits by engineers.

 

Level of Service -  having the confidence that when our engineers do carry out routine service visits, they do so with such conviction and pride that we can be confident the system has been maintained to the highest level.

 

Training -  the level of training we give to our clients on-site engineers and technicians is to a quality that nurtures confidence to diagnose and repair any occasional problems that arise. We believe the better the training, the less downtime experienced.

 

Is it any wonder then,  that after applying these principals over the past 6 years, when Jersey Airport decided to replace their entire car parking system, after researching the options they choose EA Group again as their preferred supplier.

The Configuration

 

The Short Term Car Park (forecourt) comprises of Amano single entry and exit lanes with EA Group's very own Account Debit Control System installed in parallel for bus and coach operators.

 

The Long Stay Car Park comprises of 3 entry and 2 exit Amano stations complete with new TF-1200 barriers.

 

 

The Pay on Foot Systems includes:

  • 4 Amano Car Park Entry Stations

  • 3 Amano Car Park Exit Stations

  • 7 Amano Car Park Barriers

  • 3 Amano Pay on Foot Paystations (POF)

  • 1 Amano Manual Cashier Station

  • 1 Amano Aspect Server

  • 2 Amano Client Servers

The pay stations locations are; two in the Arrivals Terminal and one in the Departure Terminal.

 

All of the car park pay stations are of course 'Chip and Pin' ENV 2 and DDA compliant.

 

All of the paystations accept Jersey, Guernsey and UK Sterling £5, £10 and £20 bank notes.

 

Bank Note Dispensing

The two Arrivals Terminal Paystations are fitted with bank note dispensers.

Issuing £5.00 Jersey bank notes as part of the change if a customer pays a low car park fee with a high denomination bank note, this was a feature that the Jersey Airport Management team requested as part of their commitment of quality to the airports customers.
