The function of this system is similar to that of the 3-leafed revolving door. The turnstile rotates by only 90º before locking once more, thus allowing a large number of people to enter in a very short period of time.

Available in a wide range of designs and finishes, be it a closed system in any RAL colour or all-glass transparency, stainless steel, aluminium, the classic concept of the drive unit being located in the upper part of the drum or concealed under the finished floor level – anything is possible.

A sophisticated actuation system prevents unauthorised persons to gain access and protects from being trapped or locked inside even in the event of power failure. Bespoke solutions are available on request.

Operation
When an authorised person operates the smart card reader, the door is released in the appropriate direction for an adjustable period of time. The turnstile stops its rotary movement after it has travelled 90º and locks once  more. If an unauthorized person tries to gain access or take an object with him, this will be detected by the contact mat and the light sensor. As a result the door slowly returns to its initial position.

Turnstile
Four glass leaves offset by 90 º in relation to one another consisting of 10 mm safety glass framed in 65 mm BLASI aluminium profiles with integrated brush seals. Centre of turnstile with profile, four stainless steel door handles (diameter 30 mm), electromechanical locking mechanism.

Drum walls
Curved aluminium panels with continuous BLASI aluminium profiles, bottom rail in stainless steel.
Option: curved 10 mm safety glass

Floor frame
Stainless steel floor frame (installation depth 65 mm)
Option 1: to flange damp course membrane supplied by others on the outside

Canopy
