We are delighted to report that following a courtesy visit to one of our clients in Weybridge Surrey. The EA Swing Speed Lanes we recently installed are exceeding their high expectations. Furthermore, the feedback from their users has been excellent.

Consequently, by eliminating manufacturing time. We delivered the project, with a very impressive product, in the fastest turnaround.

The main fit out contractor was only on site for 4 weeks. Within this period, we visited, quoted, re-surveyed, installed and left the Speed Lanes as you see them in these images above.

Automatic Security Barrier Installation at Keyline

EA Security Barrier, 8 meters wide installed at Keyline

EA Group have installed another long Automatic Security Barrier installation. This time it was an 8-meter automated barrier system for Keyline at Havant, Hampshire. Keyline are a leading UK supplier of specialist civils and drainage solutions, heavy building materials, and specialist rail and utilities materials.

The automatic barrier has been custom fabricated and finished to match their corporate blue colour scheme. It offers a reliable and secure entrance solution to their newest site. Of course we installed the barrier with all the required safety equipment to ensure that it meets the BS EN12453 standard.

EA Group can supply and install long automatic security barriers that span very wide entrances. In addition, they can be supplied in any RAL colour to offer corporate branding from the entrance.

Revolving Doors for Surrey Quays Shopping Centre

Surrey Quays is a leading London shopping destination in Rotherhithe with over 40 shops and restaurants. Situated in a very busy and residential part of London, the centre receives a huge foot fall each day.

EA Group were instructed to remove two revolving doors originally installed by another company that had become unreliable. EA Group offered a complete turnkey solution. One of the two doors has been replaced today. Here are some images of the original:

UPDATE 02/07/2018. We met with the centre manager today and received his feedback: “We are so impressed with your doors, zero operational errors, a really nice bit of kit”

Security Bollards at the University of Winchester

 

University of Winchester contacted EA Group seeking a long-established security company that could offer the specific products, good communication and long term maintenance that they actively required after several failings in installation and communications from their previous suppliers.

EA Group were tasked to design and install an automatic bollard entrance system to the West Downs campus in keeping with the existing three systems on their adjoining estates

The EA hydraulic bollard systems offer the client a reliable, safe and secure entrance system, the bollards are 600 mm tall when raised and come complete with electronic buzzer and LED light rings for activation safety. Coupled with the bespoke traffic light and control unit tower specially designed for the university, the access control entrance pillar and complete electronic safety system including the three buried induction loops, EA Group were able to offer the university the exact entrance they required.

EA Group discussed the installation with the university to prior to ensure that road closures and disruption were kept to a minimum, the project was delivered from start to finish in the discussed timescales which ensured the university could open for the new term without disruption.

Following the installation, the university have awarded EA Group the annual maintenance contract to maintain the existing bollard installations around the university’s campus.

Revolving Door and Turnstiles at Usay Compare

Usay Compare is the UK’s largest and fastest-growing Private Medical Insurance intermediary. Based near Cirencester in the picturesque Cotswold region, Usay Compare has an ever-growing staff of more than 120 including a team of over 55 fully-trained health insurance advisers.

EA Group were asked to survey and quote for a revolving door and turnstiles for a business unit opposite their existing premises which forms part of the companies expansion. They had recently received similar items on their current building (by others) and weren’t fully satisfied with either the quality of product, installation or communication.

An order was received last week. With only a five week lead-time from drawing approval we will be installing one of our Surrey manufactured all glass bespoke revolving doors complete with a night shutter for added security. Our turnstiles are held in stock and will be installed at the same time.

Tall Revolving Doors installed at Canary Wharf, London.

EA Group are proud to be the company that were chosen to replace eight oversize revolving doors to a pair of adjoining Norman Foster designed towers that are 105 metres (344 ft) and 200 metres (656 ft) in height and are located in Canary Wharf in the city’s Docklands. The existing doors had become unreliable and the client was seeking another company that could replace the doors like for like in appearance and undertake the works over successive weekends.

Due to the secure nature of the work and the location, EA Group had a tall order on their hands (most around 4000mm in height)

Each removal took place on a Friday night

Then carefully over a number of weekends the doors were installed and comissioned:

Sweeper-S Speed Lane

I proudly write to say we have just sold a number of EA Swing-S slim speed lanes to this client in Salford, Manchester. Talk Talk went to the market earlier this year and contacted a number of companies looking for minimalist lanes for the refurbishment of their Soapworks facility. Our slim speed lanes and pass gates were specified thereafter and will be installed on three floors. Works commence in early 2018

EA Swing Speed Lanes Installed at Improbable Worlds, London

Improbable Worlds Limited (commonly referred to as Improbable) are a British multinational technology company founded in 2012 with its headquarters in Farringdon, London.

The company have created SpatialOS, which is a computation platform that enables the creation of massive simulations and virtual worlds for use in video games and corporate simulations. The firm partnered with Google in December 2016.

Improbable Worlds came to us with a requirement to enhance the security to the main and side entrances of their London offices. We raised a quote on the same day of the survey, and our EA Swing Speed Lanes were installed just six weeks later.

Subsea 7 choose EA Group Curved Sliding Doors and Swing Speed gates

EA Group are delighted to announce that we have installed the two new circle sliding door entrances and security speed lane turnstiles at the reception of the Subsea 7 new purpose built, high-tech office building on the Brighton Road in Sutton.

Subsea 7 is a world-leading seabed-to-surface engineering, construction and services contractor to the offshore energy industry. They have recently relocated their staff from Quadrant House, also in Sutton, to this nearby new 14,000 m2 principal building.

Prior to construction, we were able to demonstrate our circle sliding door entrances and security speed lane turnstiles. The main contractor, sub-contractors and architect all visited EA Group at our Bookham facility to view operational units within our premises. Some architectural features were requested, the modifications were made and approved by all prior to going into production.

Incidentally, the former Subsea 7 Sutton offices at Quadrant House also have an EA Group revolving door entrance, and other Subsea 7 offices also have our turnstiles installed, so the company knows that they are in safe hands when it comes to a reliable product from a market leader in entrance solutions.

This impressive new workplace will contribute to the ongoing town centre regeneration, and will also allow their business to grow whilst remaining in a town that has been a home to the company for many years.

The contemporary and flexible office space, extensive breakout areas, presentation suites, training rooms, a kitchen & restaurant will accommodate over 700 staff on-site together with designated office space for their key collaborative partners.
