EA Group are delighted to announce the launch of their British made, new All Glass Revolving Door.

EA Group have taken the initiative and developed an all new Glass Revolving Door which is manufactured in Great Britain, enabling the company to have the quickest possible lead-times, most competitive pricing, and reduces the carbon footprint of delivery from our British production facility to sites within the UK and Ireland.

Our new all-glass revolving door can either be constructed almost entirely from glass with only stainless steel patch fixings to secure the glass panels together. Or with a thin edging frame, offered in choices of polished or brushed stainless steel, brass or bronze finishes or PPC to match any RAL colour.

From research with architects and designers, we have made our new all-glass revolving door available in sizes of one millimeter increments, in both width and height, at no additional bespoke penalty cost. This new all-glass revolving door will now be designed and manufactured in Britain, specifically to fit the aperture requirements of a building.

By manufacturing our own door within Great Britain, we are further able to meet the design aspirations of our clients, specific to the finest detailing and delivering exceptional results, all within tighter timelines.

Within the first few months of its manufacture, EA Group have been able to deliver and install several client orders of the new All-Glass Revolving Door, including: The prestigious One Springfield Drive office development in Surrey (pictured above).

With more installations of our new all-glass revolving door within the immediate pipeline, and new variations of this door due to be released during Q3 and Q4 of 2017, EA Group are very positive for the future of our British made door.

Subsea 7 choose EA Group Curved Sliding Doors and Swing Speed gates

EA Group are delighted to announce that we have installed the two new circle sliding door entrances and security speed lane turnstiles at the reception of the Subsea 7 new purpose built, high-tech office building on the Brighton Road in Sutton.

Subsea 7 is a world-leading seabed-to-surface engineering, construction and services contractor to the offshore energy industry. They have recently relocated their staff from Quadrant House, also in Sutton, to this nearby new 14,000 m2 principal building.

Prior to construction, we were able to demonstrate our circle sliding door entrances and security speed lane turnstiles. The main contractor, sub-contractors and architect all visited EA Group at our Bookham facility to view operational units within our premises. Some architectural features were requested, the modifications were made and approved by all prior to going into production.

Incidentally, the former Subsea 7 Sutton offices at Quadrant House also have an EA Group revolving door entrance, and other Subsea 7 offices also have our turnstiles installed, so the company knows that they are in safe hands when it comes to a reliable product from a market leader in entrance solutions.

This impressive new workplace will contribute to the ongoing town centre regeneration, and will also allow their business to grow whilst remaining in a town that has been a home to the company for many years.

The contemporary and flexible office space, extensive breakout areas, presentation suites, training rooms, a kitchen & restaurant will accommodate over 700 staff on-site together with designated office space for their key collaborative partners.

North Park Quarry choose EA Group’s Solar Powered Barriers

EA Group (UK) Ltd have successfully installed a complete solar powered automated barrier solution to the network connecting road between North Park quarry and Pendell Quarry for Siblico UK Ltd.

The five new 5 meter skirted barriers are proving invaluable to Siblico operatives as they carry out their safety checks and day to day operations along the conveyor route, the barriers replaced manual steel gates and padlocks and therefore offer a time saving and hassle free solution to navigating the one mile long route.

The new solar powered barriers offer up to 100 uses per day with an integral battery back up, working on a single remote control, with all the safety features that you would expect with a standard mains powered automated barrier.

EA Group (UK) Ltd are able to offer solar powered solutions to new automated barrier installations and automatic gate installations, removing the need for mains power supplies (230v/240v) saving time, hassle and overall cost of your projects.

Bournemouth University Choose EA Tripod Turnstiles

Bournemouth University (BUIC) needed an access control turnstile solution that was both robust and aesthetically pleasing to control the flow of students at both an administration building and a student hall of residence.

They also needed the system to be supplied and installed in double quick time, as with a new academic year upon them, this very popular south coast university would soon be bustling with new students that needed a degree of controlling.

Fortunately, they called upon the expertise of EA Group who were able to identify the best turnstile for this application was their EA Tripod turnstile model, and furthermore, installed it with additional glass balustrades within the allotted time frame.

EA Revolving Doors Installed on Ealing Broadway, London

International House is located in Ealing town centre a few moments’ walk from the station and adjacent to the Ealing Broadway Shopping Centre. The offices had two fairly old and narrow revolving doors. These had four compartments which left little comfort for the users each day. One door was beyond economical repair and had been put out of action some time ago:

The building was already being refurbished when EA Group attending meetings with CBRE and British Land. EA were asked to determine how easily and quickly these could be replaced. Soon thereafter we installed two replacement doors with a three wing configuration to add comfort to the visitors and users of this building:

EA Group Automatic All Glass Revolving Door

For many door companies, offering an oversize entrance door is a headache, manufacturing it with a short lead-time is often a non-starter. However for EA Group this is what we do. And we have recently done it again at St Magnus House.

Sited near Monument in Lower Thames Street, London, St Magnus House is a sixties building named after the nearby St Magnus Church, one of the 51 parish churches rebuilt by Sir Christopher Wren after the Great Fire of London.

St Magnus House had a non-functioning 3 metre tall all glass door that had been installed many years ago by another manufacturer. EA Group were tasked with replacing this oversize automatic door with another that met the latest EN16005 regulations.

Over the course of two days, we carefully removed and replaced their existing door with a brand new EA bespoke automatic revolving door that fitted exactly into the same space, not only above ground, but with an underfloor drive mechanism and bespoke mountings that were fabricated off site to fit into and suit the existing slab recess.

To add to this feat of engineering, the new EA automatic door was made available to the site with an expedited delivery to meet their tight programme of works.

EA Group employ staff with decades of automatic revolving door product experience, from concept to installation. The project was delivered on time, on budget, even with the technical challenges that we were faced with.

EA Group were approached for the speed lane package at Weston House in High Holborn.

We met with the contractor and architect and a bespoke solution was quickly offered and agreed. The multiple gates which were a variation to the scheme were available for installation well within the existing programme.

EA High Capacity Revolving Doors open the new Inverness College

EA Group UK Limited have completed the installation of three stainless steel high capacity revolving doors at Inverness College.

The doors chosen for this scheme are the most technologically advanced doors available to date incorporating both revolving and sliding functionality in one unit. Each door has an integrated heater with bespoke and discreet hot air outlets fitted neatly within the top of the head.

Chosen for their superior build quality, high capacity and efficiency, these three 4.2 metre wide doors supplied and installed by EA Group grace the main entrances to the new state of the art facility.

Inverness College have opened these doors to students in its new campus location where the new state of the art facility provides an exciting range of further and higher education courses, alongside post-graduate opportunities and in work training.

Revolving Door Installed at Sussex Coast College

During their summer break, Sussex Coast College in Hastings has had a makeover of their main building entrance.

EA Group won the contract to provide a new entrance solution that included a revolving door and two pass doors being incorporated into a new entrance portal.

Delivering the entire project to an exacting deadline on time and on budget, EA Group ensured that the refurbishment was ready for the new college term which of course minimalised disruption to their day to day operation.

By choosing EA Group’s EA023M model revolving door, the installation was possible without the need to build the door on a matwell ring, negating the need to disturb the under floor heating that the building uses.

Prior to the refurbishment, the college had two sliding doors at this entrance and given the buildings positioning at altitude on the south coast, the wind used to whistle through the reception.

Now however, all is well. The college has a revolving door that will keep the wind out and their heating costs down.
