EA Group were instructed to remove two revolving doors originally installed by another company that had become unreliable. EA Group offered a complete turnkey solution. One of the two doors has been replaced today. Here are some images of the original:

This £6.5m project “Launchpad” will facilitate an innovative graduate programme designed to place talented graduates in teams that incubate into incorporated, investible companies. Forging the growth of digital games in Cornwall, the UK and worldwide through the generation of high-value business, the new building will provide an appropriate environment which will allow a culture of innovation to flourish.

Internally the spaces use high quality materials and modern, interesting forms which reflect the character of this creative environment. Externally the building will be accessed by two stainless steel revolving doors which have just been ordered from EA Group. These are just like the existing EA entrances that were installed in the adjacent AIR building in 2012:

EA Group were contacted by the architects in charge of two new hotels schemes for this client. One of the sites was not as urgent and was in Wembley. My first site visit was to the more urgent site in Croydon where we were told an automated revolver and shopfront were required on site within seven weeks or less.

We turned it around and met the tight programme. Fortunately most of our clients give us a little more notice, but either way the results are always of the same high quality:

This building was handed over a week ago. Our part of the brief was a modern revolving door manufactured in glass and stainless steel to allow more light into the reception.

The new solution was all manufactured in the UK. The new EA revolver has three wings for added comfort for users. We also replaced the shopfront and smoke vent operators were installed thereafter

Works have just completed at the London Marriott Hotel Regents Park in London. As part of a wider scheme aimed at improving the overall offering of the hotel, the rooms have been redesigned by Anita Rosato Interior Design to move away from corporate colours and take inspiration from the local area. Earthy tones are offset against the park orientated Jean-Paul Gaultier fabric featured on the layered headboard. The rest of the rooms have further references to the park and the zoo.

The hotel’s lobby, executive lounge, restaurant and meeting and events spaces have all been reinvented in the past 12 months. Part of the works included a bespoke entrance with a new revolving door, and again local inspiration was drawn upon for the earth toned colour choice.

Marriott International is the world’s largest hotel company with more than 5,700 properties in 110+ countries and territories. The company’s 30 leading brands include Le Meridien, Renaissance Hotels and Sheraton.

EA Group are delighted to announce that we have installed the two new circle sliding door entrances and security speed lane turnstiles at the reception of the Subsea 7 new purpose built, high-tech office building on the Brighton Road in Sutton.

Subsea 7 is a world-leading seabed-to-surface engineering, construction and services contractor to the offshore energy industry. They have recently relocated their staff from Quadrant House, also in Sutton, to this nearby new 14,000 m2 principal building.

Prior to construction, we were able to demonstrate our circle sliding door entrances and security speed lane turnstiles. The main contractor, sub-contractors and architect all visited EA Group at our Bookham facility to view operational units within our premises. Some architectural features were requested, the modifications were made and approved by all prior to going into production.

Incidentally, the former Subsea 7 Sutton offices at Quadrant House also have an EA Group revolving door entrance, and other Subsea 7 offices also have our turnstiles installed, so the company knows that they are in safe hands when it comes to a reliable product from a market leader in entrance solutions.

This impressive new workplace will contribute to the ongoing town centre regeneration, and will also allow their business to grow whilst remaining in a town that has been a home to the company for many years.

The contemporary and flexible office space, extensive breakout areas, presentation suites, training rooms, a kitchen & restaurant will accommodate over 700 staff on-site together with designated office space for their key collaborative partners.
